The Défi Inter-Alliances is an online contest, the participants challenge each other around questions about French and Francophone culture - art, history, gastronomy, music, sport, geography, etc. The two local winners will move on to the national quiz, then possibly onwards to the regional competition and then international competition for a chance to win the grand prize of a trip to Paris, with accomodation and transportation and an extra 400€ allowance for the trip.

The competition is:

• free,
• open to AF Wellington students at A2 level and above,
• open to AF students aged 18 and over.

The prizes:

• The two local winners in Wellington will win an annual membership and a batch of books ;
• The two national winners will win one term of any class in the Alliance Française New Zealand in which the winners are already enrolled ;
• The regional winner will win a trip to Paris, with accommodation and transportation and an extra 400€ allowance for the trip.

How to participate:

• Make sure to free during the 4 steps of the competition (more details here)
• You'll need a computer connected to internet (Zoom) and the Kahoot App, on your smartphone or tablet (to answer the questions live).
