From beginners to advanced, we offer a wide variety of French classes for children, teenagers and adults.

Our goal is to have students of all ages to be able to interact as confidently as possible with French speakers and our classes are therefore focused on communication – reading, writing, listening and speaking.

Adults

We run a range of classes for adults covering all different levels of comprehension and ability.

Teenagers

Explore our big range of group classes for teens, taught by qualified native French teachers.

Children

Children are given the opportunity to be immersed in French through a variety of fun courses and activities from as early as the age of 2.

Bilingual Classes

Does your child speak French at home? Did they do part of their schooling in French? Check out our Bilingual classes.

French at School

We work with local schools and parents to bring our popular children’s French classes to classrooms outside of the Alliance Française.

One Day School

Alliance Française Wellington now offers the "Les Petits Écoliers" one-day school programme.

Holiday Programme

Children are immersed in the French language through cooking, arts and crafts activities designed to educate and entertain. For ages 5 to 10.


Examinations

Official examinations to certify your level of French. Whether you want to immigrate, study or work in France or a French-speaking country, these examinations are for you.
